Agreement Overview
By confirming your booking with Ravendale Training and Behaviour, you are entering a contractual agreement for our behavioural services. Your participation in these services is subject to the following Terms and Conditions.

Confidentiality
Ravendale Training and Behaviour is committed to protecting your privacy in line with GDPR. We ask that you also safeguard our privacy by refraining from sharing access to any online resources provided—these are intended solely for your personal use.

Financial Responsibility
We strive to clearly outline the issues, the proposed plan, and its potential outcomes. However, individual success may vary based on factors such as commitment, background, and previous experience. By engaging our services, you confirm that you understand and accept the financial implications involved.

Complaints
We view complaints as valuable feedback that can help us improve. If you have any concerns, we encourage you to share your perspective so that we can work together to resolve the issue.

Disclaimer – Advice
Our services are focused solely on dog behavioural training. Please note that we do not provide veterinary, legal, or any other professional advice outside our area of expertise.

Use of Likeness
By participating in our sessions, you grant Ravendale Training and Behaviour the right to record, photograph, or capture your voice, images, interviews, and statements. You hereby transfer all rights—free of charge—to use such materials for documentary, educational, training, or any other lawful purposes.

Fees
Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your session. The appropriate fee for the agreed behavioural, training, or puppy education work must be paid in full to confirm your appointment.

Cancellation Policy
Should you need to cancel a one-on-one or behavioural session, please notify us as early as possible. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled session will not be refunded unless we are able to rebook the slot with another client. We will consider extenuating circumstances on a case-by-case basis.

Group & Virtual Classes
For course bookings, it is essential that you attend consecutive classes starting from your course commencement date—unless alternate arrangements are made with the trainer. No compensation will be provided for any missed class. To cancel an entire course, a minimum notice of two weeks is required.

Online Courses
Please note that online courses are non-refundable once booked.

Dog Training General Terms

1. All dogs must be fully vaccinated and maintained on a regular flea and worm treatment schedule. Proof of vaccination is required before your first session.
2. Dogs in season are not permitted to attend classes.
3. While pet insurance is highly recommended, owners are responsible for any veterinary expenses incurred.
4. Ravendale Training and Behaviour is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury to your dog during training sessions.
5. Dogs must remain on a lead at all times unless otherwise instructed.
6. Children under 18 must be supervised by an adult during sessions.
7. Our training methods are based on positive reinforcement. We do not allow forceful handling or punishment; should such methods be observed, the dog’s guardian will be re-educated. Continued use of aversive techniques may result in dismissal from the program without a refund.
8. ‘Y’ shaped harnesses are required during classes.
9. We are not responsible for any damage to or theft from your vehicle. Please avoid leaving valuables inside and never leave your dog unattended in your car.
10. Training sessions may take place in venues with uneven or slippery surfaces. Please wear appropriate footwear.
11. Any known behavioural issues must be disclosed prior to booking.
    In the event of cancellations due to adverse weather or changes related to COVID-19, sessions will be conducted virtually via Zoom.

Booking Procedure
All sessions—including group classes, one-on-one sessions, behavioural consultations, and online courses—must be booked through our website or via email. Once your booking is made, you will receive an email confirmation with payment and location details. Your booking is only confirmed upon receipt of full payment. For one-on-one sessions and packages, payment is required upfront. If payment is not received within one week of scheduling, your booking may be released to other clients, and a new appointment will need to be arranged.
